At the games!

 On the 29th of July 2014 I got up at 6 o' clock and went on a busy train to Glasgow. When  I arrived at Glasgow station I hopped off the train  and quickly to the Glasgow National Hockey Centre. The first game played was England v New Zealand which we were  15 mins late! Sadly the final score was 2 - 1 to New Zealand.

Mrs Down has left Ember, Prof Bear and the others sleeping in the new classroom and has taken Flat Stanley out and about on her adventures this holidays!

  Monday 28th July 2014

 I got up really early and jumped into the car ready for my exciting adventure to Glasgow. Then we arrived at Newark ready to jump on a train to Edinburgh but first I had to buy a Costa.

While on the journey I saw  lovely scenery.

When we arrived in Edinburgh we had to go to the Cath Kidston shop (groan). Then we walked around the city, visited the castle which made me exhausted! Thankfully we had tea in the Hard Rock Café… yummy.

Prof Bear visits Alexa

Prof bear spent the weekend with Alexa. It was very busy! He had his feet measured - he didn't need new shoes though, and had his eyes tested and tried on some glasses. We all went out for a meal and he helped Alexa chose lasagne. Mmmmmm yummy! The next day we went to see Courtney in hospital. It was a very long way so he had a bit of a nap on the way home. Back to school on Monday for a rest :-).

Another visit to Connor's

Friday 27th June
I left school with Connor B. who has become one of my best buddies. We shot off to Spalding Grammar School to pick Connor's big brother up, then went home and relaxed by playing on the X-Box.

Saturday 28th June.
When I woke me and Connor watched his iPad for a while. Later Connor''s uncle Ant came round and collected his tortoise which Connor was looking after while he was on holiday.
Julie and Chloe Young came round at lunch and bought us some yummy chips from town. Afterwards, me, Connor and Chloe went to play in the garden. We went on a caterpillar hunt (because they were eating all of Connor's mum's cabbages!).


We all picked some tomatoes that were ready. Can you see me hiding in the tomato plant? (look at my last entry in the blog!)


I helped Connor look at his broccoli and climbed up his apple tree.


Then we decided to have a take out for tea - we all had pizza which was very yummy - Connor shared his with me.
Later Julie and Chloe left and I watched X-Men with Connor. We went to bed about midnight and I fell straight to sleep.

Sunday 30th June
We had a quiet morning watching More X-Men DVDs, then we had lunch. After lunch I went with Connor and his mum to see Connors nanny. I helped to fill some bags with gravel - that was hard work.
Later in the afternoon, Tracy came by and bought Connor some rock - she had been to Cornwall for the week on holiday.
Then we had some tea and it was time for Connors bath. We then went to bed which was quite sad as I knew I was going back to school in the morning.

I had a lovely time at Connors house once again :-)

Adventures with Connor!

I came out of school on Friday 20th June with my pal Connor B. I have visited Connor several times before so I know I was going to love my adventure.
When we left school we rushed to Spalding Grammar School to pick his older brother up. We got home and relaxed playing Minecraft on the X-box. Later that evening I watched 3 X- Men movies with Connor and Connor's Mum (but Connor's Mum wasn't really interested). They went on for quite a few hours, and we went to bed at midnight.
Saturday 21st June
I woke up next to Connor and it was quite late in the morning! Saturday was a lazy day for us. We went outside and picked some strawberries from Connor's Mum's strawberry patch (yummy)

We played on the X-box most of the day then I went upstairs with Connor and we played in Connor's brothers bedroom on Minecraft. Later I fell asleep with Connor on the sofa when we was watching Despicable Me 2.

Sunday 22nd June
Today we played in the garden, me and Connor played football. I had to take my jacket off because it was so hot.

I enjoyed playing football with Connor, even though he won.
I watched Connor playing football with his brother in his garden from the top of his play house so I didn't get knocked over.

Then me and Connor took a nice rest and relaxed for a while,

I loved my adventure with Connor this weekend, but now it's time for Connor to have his bath and read his school book. Then we'll be getting tucked up in bed ready for tomorrows school day - we can't be tired tomorrow because it's the school Sport's Day.
I hope I visit Connor again soon.
