I have been very busy this term and so have class 8. We have been making robots because the study unit is robots and in literacy they are studying The Iron Man by Ted Hughes.
It all started one afternoon when Mrs Down asked the class to look at a pile of junk and design a robot. In teams they worked together to build these robots. I watched carefully how well they worked together and what lovely ideas they had.
After a few afternoons of designing, building, sticking, using papier mache, painting and using the computer the robots were complete.
These robots got introduced to the school in assembly because the class were so proud of them.
Now they stand proudly...
